EAT, DRINK, LOVE

My wife has found a movie that I was totally unknown, "Eating, drinking, love ' (see the report Imdb) . This is a tribute to love, life and good food. Ang Lee's film raises the debate, from Taiwan, the change of values, the passing of the traditional family to other family models, and the East-West cultural clash.

At one point in the film, one of the characters reveals that after all we come into this world "eat, drink and love" . The spiritual background is there as vital and as an attempt to answer the questions that we have thousands of years making the meaning of life and whether there is something after death. Those who know me know what I think: after death there is nothing and we have actually come here to enjoy the extent that this dirty world allows. For me it's frightening, but true.
